Robert Fuerer

Swiss-born American artist Robert Fuerer seamlessly blends intercultural perspectives drawn from over two decades spent in the Asian art world. After earning his BFA in Oil Painting from SUNY Purchase College in 2009,

Fuerer embarked on a journey throughout Asia, where he refined his craft and embraced diverse artistic traditions. His return to the U.S. following his father’s passing in 2021 marked a profound shift, as he reconnected with his heritage, the Western terrain, and family. This fusion of Eastern influences and Western landscapes has revitalized his creative process, grounding his art in both tradition and innovation. Fuerer’s works are characterized by vivid colors and bold strokes, capturing everyday scenes with a fresh perspective. His paintings evoke deep emotions, elevating the ordinary. “I paint to make ordinary scenes come alive,” Fuerer reflects, “My goal is simple: evoke emotion.”

Leslee Knudsen

Leslee of Murray, Utah says, “I have always enjoyed creating and making art. I have tried many different subjects from portraits to landscapes. Every painting is a learning experience filled with hundreds of decisions to be made by the artist. I have earned a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from Salt Lake Community College. I have also studied privately with Kamille Corry, Susan Gallacher and John Poon.”

Deena Riley Millecam

Deena paints with watercolors and oils in St George, Utah. She enjoys Plein Air painting, teaching, and curating at Red Cliff Gallery in St George. Her true love is her family and biking.

Deena gives tribute to teachers and peers who have shared their expertise and knowledge along the journey.  She exhibits in Red Cliff Gallery, Zion’s Staircase, Gallery 35 and Arrowhead Gallery located in St George.  Her monthly art visit, sharing ideas to the Ovation Assisted Living Community, has been a great opportunity to meet new and budding artists!  She enjoys commission work and feels it an honor to paint for others.  Art is a lifestyle. Boredom is not! Buying supplies is delicious. Being without is not! Finding new friends is a gift. Being lonely is not! Creating and appreciating is heaven. Without these, life is not!

Nuha Moretz

Nuha Moretz’s art is a deeply personal journey—an escape from life’s noise into creativity and self-discovery. Through layers of color, texture, and negative space, her work reveals hidden memories and emotions inspired by nature’s beauty. Nuha creates balanced compositions inviting reflection on our connection to place. Exhibited locally and internationally, her art offers a moment of stillness and invites viewers to connect with the natural world.

She also loves to paint people in scenes that remind her of days gone by and memories of childhood. Beverly states, “I love the beauty all around me and have lived and traveled in areas of the country with widely varying landscapes. Each has its own charm and character. There is so much beauty out there and trying to paint that beauty helps me appreciate it more.”

Ginger Shell

Ginger is originally from Salt Lake City and has lived in Utah her entire life and currently lives in Midway. She learned how to draw from her dad, at a very early age, sitting together at the kitchen table. She was fortunate to have commercial art as her main study in high school, learning from Utah artist Harld D Peterson (Pete). Later, she connected with Peterson again to study watercolor. She has since studied with several notable artists and is continually learning and achieving. She paints in the studio as well as “en plein air” and feels lucky to be able to pursue and share her paintings with others.

Meli loves to interpret the landscapes around her. While most of her paintings are of landscapes and seascapes, she also enjoys creating paintings with horses, koi fish, still-life, and abstracts.
After spending over 30 years in the aerospace industry Meli and her husband moved from Southern California to Pleasant Grove Utah in 2017. Meli is now pursuing new places in Utah and elsewhere to find and paint with soft pastel and oils. Website: https://www.melicalkins.com
